the LEEK Movie Review:
Star
Wars: How the Empire Stole Christmas
Just in
time for the holidays, another Star Wars movie was released, bridging
the gap between "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of
the Jedi".
In this movie,
the empire reveals the location of Santa's toy workshop at the North Pole
and attempts to destroy it. Luckily for the kids of the world, the force
is with Santa (played by Obi Wan Kenobi) and his helper (played by
Yoda). Equipped with state-of-the-art speeder sleigh (complete with a red
nose) and Christmas light sabers, they shower the stormtroopers with
explosive Darth-Vader action figures they cloned in their workshop.
Consequently,
the emperor orders his troopers to leave Christmas alone, and attempts
instead to steal Hanukkah, where a new surprise awaits him (see separate
story).

Featuring:
Obi Wan Kenobi as Santa Claus
Yoda as Santa's Helper
The Emperor as the Grinch
Darth Vader as Himself
MPAA Rating:
PG - for explicit language
(when the reindeer lose their job to the new speeder)
Genre:
Holiday Fiction
Memorable Quote:
"I was defeated, I admit. And I do not like it, not one little bit"
(Darth Vader)
