The LaVilla Theater Booster Club consists of parents and friends of
the Theater Department at LaVilla School of the Arts.
The members support the performance groups of the Theater Department
and render invaluable financial aid and backing to all the department's
organizations.
The success of the Theater Department is greatly enhanced by the
active participation of parents and friends.
Some objectives of the organization are:

To encourage and maintain an
enthusiastic interest in all activities of the Theater Department.

To cooperate with the Duval County
School Board, LaVilla Administration and Theater Department faculty
to ensure the department operates at the highest possible degree of
efficiency.

To develop a closer relationship
between parents, community and the LaVilla, fostering the theatrical
interests and education of the children, and stimulating the
knowledge, performance and appreciation of fine theatre.

To assist in the purchase of
costumes, sets, props and other equipment not regularly provided for
in the school budget.
Booster Club Meetings
Are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in Mr.
DeSpain's room, #1. All students
and parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
